The Flamenco de la Isla Society, is looking for a professional, energetic individual to organize and deliver the 7th Annual Victoria Flamenco Festival held for three to four days, tentatively set for the last weekend of July 2019. The Festival Coordinator, under the direction of the Board of Directors of the Flamenco de la Isla Society (the Board) and with the aid of an assistant, will work with a set budget, organize the format of the festival, including ticketed events and workshops, and oversee the production of the festival. The successful candidate will have experience with organizing and managing comparable events, be competent and able to multi-task and deliver projects on time.

The contract will commence in February and run until Festival wrap-up is completed in late September. The hours are part-time as needed to perform the tasks required and will increase proportionately as the Festival approaches. The coordinator must be available for extensive hours for the two weeks prior to the festival and during festival week. A valid BC Drivers License is required.

Remuneration will depend on experience and the ability to take on more elements of the Festival.
