An evening of passion, soul, and fiery flamenco guitar!

Flamenco de la Isla Society presents the 11th edition of Flamenco Guitar Night on Vancouver Island! This concert features four of Victoria’s highly acclaimed flamenco guitarists: Gareth Owen, Iminah Kani, Juan de Marias, and Jake “Chinito” Lee. The talent in this group of flamenco guitarists is phenomenal. Joining our guitarists will be talented local singers Veronica Maguire, Mary Storzer, and Jan “Juana” Bate.
All of these artists have recently returned from Andalucía, Spain, the birthplace of Flamenco, or are just about to travel there. This is your chance to lose yourself in the rich sounds of Spanish melodies and flamenco rhythms. You will want to see this concert!

The Flamenco de la Isla Society proudly presents an unforgettable evening of flamenco music, dance, and fashion, showcasing the incredible talents of our local professional artists and dedicated students.

Highlights
Live Performances: Immerse yourself in the passion of traditional flamenco, featuring powerful footwork, soulful music, and stunning choreography.
Fashion Show: Admire the artistry of colourful authentic flamenco dresses and accessories, some of which will be up for sale the day after the show. All proceeds go to support the scholarship fund.
Silent Auction: Bid on a wonderful selection of experiences and themed gift baskets.

Parking
Free parking available on the side streets including Moss Street, Pentrelew Place, Linden Avenue, and Fort Street; in the Central Middle School parking lot on Fort Street; and, at the Art Gallery on Moss Street. Come early to find a good spot.
Seating
Seats are available on a first come first serve basis.
Accessibility Information
Four (4) handicapped parking spots are available in the front of the theatre. The theatre is not wheelchair accessible, although it is “walker friendly”. Please arrive early to access “walker friendly” seats in the theatre.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive between 6:00 and 6:45 to secure your seat and order food and drinks prior to the start of the show at 7:00 p.m.
Location: The Mint, 1414 Douglas Street, Victoria

The event will include a live flamenco performance. The Mint’s delicious food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Tables are available for 2, 4, and 6 people and charged at $25 per-seat. Please arrive promptly to claim your table. Your patience is appreciated as our volunteers welcome and seat each group.
A limited number of individual seats are available for $30 per-seat. Please note: by selecting this ticket option, you agree to be seated at a mixed table of other individual ticket holders. Your seat will be assigned and may not be changed.
